Two new job opportunities at the Independent Redress Mechanism

The Independent Redress Mechanism (IRM) is pleased to announce two new job opportunities based in Incheon, South Korea, aimed at professionals passionate about accountability in climate finance.

1. Case Associate (IS-1)

The IRM is hiring a Case Associate. In this role, the successful candidate will play a vital part in supporting the IRM’s compliance review work. Responsibilities include assisting in the investigations of complaints, maintaining the Case Management System (CMS) with regular case details, and engaging with external partners. This position offers a unique opportunity for individuals with a background in law, social science, human rights, public policy, or related fields to contribute to meaningful climate action efforts.

2. Compliance and Policy Lead (IS-6)

The IRM is also in search of a Compliance and Policy Lead. This role is aimed at seasoned professionals with expertise in compliance, risk management, and policy development. The chosen candidate will be responsible for leading the IRM's compliance review work and will help the IRM ensure adherence to institutional policies and procedures, develop and implement compliance strategies, and provide guidance on policy matters. This position offers a chance for individuals contributing to the IRM’s mission of addressing cases by GCF-projected affected persons.
